libdate-hijri-perl software package provides Perl module to convert Gregorian dates to Hijri and vice versa, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdate-hijri-perl
libdate-hijri-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdate-hijri-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdate-hijri-perl *
You will get with libdate-hijri-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
